DNA proving in  Germany

We have good news for all owners of dogs with SV registered parents, requiring DNA proving in Germany. It will no longer be necessary to try and get vials of blood into Germany for testing! The Federation office now has SV DNA collection kits in stock at R75.00 per kit. The kits are easy to use and similar to our local system, making use of paper to collect the blood sample for DNA testing. Samples can be taken by our tattooists or Club Breed Supervisors.

All costs of sending and processing the sample in Germany will be for the owners Account. Postage to Germany and processing of the sample by the SV will be R650.00 (subject to currently fluctuations).

The results of the DNA will be sent directly the Federation and you will be notified accordingly to forward your dog’s pedigree for endorsement.
