Excellent Select | awarded at the National Breed show only if an official SV judge officiates. Awarded to the best dogs and bitches over 24 months and who meet the strictest Breed Standard requirements regarding construction, appearance, temperament and breeding. This includes the official "A" stamp (hips approved for breeding) on the pedigree. Male dogs and Bitches not in possession of a Federation recognised Breed Survey are not eligible for this award. Both male dogs and bitches must faultless teeth without gaps. Male dogs do require at minimum a training qualification of SchH1 for this award. Male dogs and bitches have to participate in a full courage test and obtain a "courage, hardness and fighting spirit" rating of " pronounced " . |

Good | awarded to male dogs and bitches over the age of 12 months with small failures regarding construction, appearance and temperament but largely meet the Breed standard or to dogs that have as yet not sufficiently developed. |

Sufficient | awarded to male dogs and bitches over the age of 12 months with noticeable faults in construction and appearance or those that show a negative response to a gunshot at the day of the show.. |

Insufficient | awarded to male dogs and bitches that are gunshot shy or show typical signs of having temperament problems or do possess faults which exclude them from the breed programme. |
