"We regret that since we have had no further
response from the KUSA to solve the impasse regarding persons banned by us being
assimilated within KUSA, the status quo whereby we do not allow officials of the
Federation to participate in German Shepherd Dog Breed activities within the
KUSA remains.
Furthermore, the dispute around the Rotek GSD Club and its assets, and the
manner in which this club and the Nördlich Verein für Deutsche Schäferhunde club
was accepted by the KUSA, has not been addressed. As per paragraph 6.11.2 c of
the Constitution, the Federation does not recognise any shows held by these two
Clubs and no Federation member may participate in any GSD Breed Shows hosted by
these clubs"
To: All Federation Members: Update on the current situation
between the KUSA and the Federation
Many of you had perhaps wondered what has been happening between
the Kennel Union of Southern Africa (KUSA) and the Federation.
I have placed the following correspondence, which exposes the KUSA president’s
hidden agenda and the untruths he keeps disseminating, on my website “Questions
to the President”.
1. A letter from the World Union of German Shepherd Dog Associations (WUSV) to
the KUSA,
2. Their reply thereto and
3. A letter sent to the President of KUSA detailing our response and which
explains it all in detail.
The correspondence proves beyond a shadow of a doubt who is responsible for the
continued impasse between the Federation and the KUSA.
The reason we are making this correspondence public, is because of Mr Eva’s
continued persistence to falsely portray the current state of affairs between
the two organizations.
Kind regards,
Frikkie van Kraayenburg
President

promotes German Shepherd Dog (GSD) breed activities within the KUSA.
2.
All
Federation members

Change Par
2.1.2
Par 2.1.2 The

and
b)
the owner of the stud dog has
to establish before the mating that the bitch is suitable for breeding and that
the resulting litter will be registered by the Federation or an organization
within which the requirements for registration comply with the requirements set
by the Federation. In this regard it is specifically noted that the breeding and
registering of German Shepherd Dogs in the Kennel Union of Southern Africa does
not comply with the requirements set by the Federation.
Note: This means
inter alia that male dogs owned by Federation members may not be mated to
bitches if the resultant litter will be registered with the KUSA.
Please
note:
1.
Federation members who do not hold office or a position within the
Federation are not
prohibited from entering any KUSA event.

4.
There are no sanctions imposed on KUSA IPO or training events.
5.
