Subject: Show Schedules
Memo to all clubs
The office is experiencing problems with clubs not following the correct procedures for
Show schedules must be received a minimum of 7 weeks before the first closing date, (see Section 2, paragraph 2.4.3 of the Show Ordinance) thus giving us time to check the schedule, correct any errors and for the club to place on the website (5 weeks required – see Ordinance), e-mail to all clubs and potential exhibitors. Once the schedule has been approved by the office, it is the CLUB's responsibility to ensure that the relevant schedule is immediately sent to Peter De Decker for placement on the website and mail the schedule to all clubs and as many potential exhibitors as possible. In future the 50% surcharge for late entries will be strictly adhered to and NO late entries will be accepted. Our office, in fact only one lady - Janca, is often handling entries for up to 4 shows and a number of breed surveys simultaneously. We simply cannot cope with added pressure of having to follow up clubs who are late in submitting their schedules and the resulting scramble to get sufficient entries. In future, the long coat classes (see below) must appear on all schedules. The suggested order of running of the classes is: Commence the show with classes 21 and 22 (Long coat puppies), followed by classes 1-4, Long coat classes 23 & 24, classes 5-8, Long coat class 19, class 9, class 20 and lastly class 10. Please ensure that all your documentation is submitted timeously and correctly in future.
