Points are awarded to various tests and gradings completed by the dogs bred by a specific breeder, and tally toward Breeders medals and Top 20 awards. The points earned by a specific test or qualification can be found in this document (download to open). Breeder MedalsA breeder receives a breeder’s medal in recognition of what the breeder’s dogs have achieved. Points are allocated to the breeder based on certain qualifications obtained by the dogs. Points are awarded for V, V(NBS) and VA(SA) show gradings, breed surveys and working qualifications. At least 70% of accumulated points must come from breed related activities and a maximum of 12 training points can be contributed by any individual dog (BH-VT & IAD excluded). These points are accrued over the years that the breeder is involved within the Federation.
