The Microchip Declaration below may be used to link a microchip to a dog that has previously only had a Tattoo Number on file with the Federation. Litters that have been registered with their microchip number, where the Tattooist has checked and verified the Microchip numbers, do not need to complete a declaration.
As all Hip- and Elbow Certificates through SAVA, as effective 01 January 2026, will only be identifiable by microchip, we urge owners to ensure that their dogs are microchipped and that the Microchip is placed on record with the Federation.
